Role Overview

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating new business prospects by pinpointing, contacting, and qualifying potential clients. The SDR is vital for broadening Adaptable's client network and bolstering the sales team by maintaining a strong flow of qualified leads.

Responsibilities include:

1) Lead Generation

  • Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers in target markets.
  • Reach out to prospects through various channels, including email, phone, and social media.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to generate new leads and business opportunities.
  • Create lists for outbound marketing campaigns, covering emails, LinkedIn, cold calling, networking events, and referral requests.

2) Prospect Qualification:

  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) to determine their fit for Adaptable's solutions.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for Account Executives with qualified prospects.

3) Sales Outreach:

  • Craft highly personalized and compelling outreach messages to capture the interest of potential clients.
  • Consistently perform a high volume of outbound communication, including cold calls and emails.
  • Follow up with leads in a timely and consistent manner to nurture relationships.

4) Pipeline Management:

  • Use CRM software to track and manage leads, ensuring all interactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as the number of leads generated, contacted, and qualified.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads.

5) Market Research and Analysis:

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the sales and marketing teams to refine target markets and messaging.
  • Discover new market opportunities and recommend strategies to capitalize on them.

6) Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and enhance lead generation strategies.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes.
  • Exchange best practices and insights with team members to improve overall performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably in digital marketing, web design & development, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of generating and qualifying leads.
  • Familiarity with web design and Webflow development solutions and industry trends is a HUGE plus.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Number of leads generated and qualified.
  • Number of meetings and appointments set.
  • Conversion rate of leads to opportunities (SAL).
  • Achievement of outreach, opportunity, and conversion quotas.
  • Contribution to overall sales targets, pipeline, and revenue growth.

Compensation

  • Base Salary + Commission
